Your biceps shouldn’t be sore for 5 days bro. Those muscles are tiny and compact, they’re likely the fastest repairing muscle. Would you claim it’s effective for your chest or glutes to be sore for 2 weeks? You could have broken down and repaired your muscles far more efficiently twice in that 5 day time period. I love the buzz on social media but you have to teach these beginner and intermediate lifters, you can’t spout “I’ve been sore for 5 days so it must be working.” It’s utter nonsense brother.

To be honest both the Bulgarian split squat and the traditional squat were my least favorite movements for legs, and they slowly became my favorites. Especially the Bulgarian split squat. absolute torture but it truly gives the best leg pumps 😅

Love the spirit of your approach to strength training. I am using your foundations program, but looking for a streamlined push, pull ,legs split that throws in some circuits/conditioning. Any programs of yours that fit those requirements?
ive gotten that a few times. Its more that people tend to assume you are vain or a narcissist, like your appearance is vulgar to them, or that that is all you are about as a person. In actuality I get self-conscious about that in the same way someone might be self-conscious about their appearance if they arent happy with it. It doesnt change that. At times i'd avoid taking my shirt off when everyone else was just so someone wouldnt think I was 'showing off.' For me its more that i did it for myself (not the approval of others) bc i felt weak and emasculated by my father growing up so i started doing bodybuilder competitions as a physical reminder to myself that I am not weak.

Dude this happens to me and then I’ll go home and think “yea they’re right, I can just let loose”, and binge eat garbage (kinda fun obviously :) ) but then I’m stuck regretting that and trying to get back right for *weeks*
